Urges the government to facilitate ongoing requests for information, and enjoins Iran to
consider a voluntary midterm review, which may contribute to its ability to uphold its
international human rights obligations.

The Islamic Republic of Iran generally does not facilitate requests for information as it reports
insufficiently on human rights issues raised by the UN Special Rapporteur and other UN human
rights mandate-holders.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has not submitted a voluntary midterm review for the third cycle of
the Universal Periodic Review.2
